Joe Lopez is the head coach and owner of Freestyle MMA in Windang, NSW, Australia. He has been Alexander Volkanovski's sole head coach throughout his professional career, guiding him to become UFC Featherweight Champion and one of the sport's pound-for-pound best.Lopez also serves as head MMA coach at City Kickboxing in New Zealand and Bangtao MMA in Thailand, where he has worked with elite fighters including Israel Adesanya. He holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and earned the title "Grand Master of B-Team" through his coaching work with Craig Jones and the B-Team organization.Beyond martial arts, Lopez founded and operated a successful security company in Sydney.
